Wauseon girls tennis hosted Maumee Valley Country Day on Thursday and came away with a 4-1 victory.
Sierra Rupp was victorious in second singles for the Indians, 6-4, 7-5. Also, the pairings of Paige Moden and Olivia Ladd, and Samantha Martin and Kaitlyn Sager won in doubles.
Wauseon, going into their matchup with Archbold Monday, was 4-8 on the season.
