Delta falls at Edgerton

EDGERTON – A pair of rushing touchdowns each from Edgerton’s Hunter Prince and Derek Blue helped them defeat Delta, 39-21, as the Panthers fell on the road to drop to 1-2 on the season Friday night.

Delta quarterback Jason Beverly ran in a pair of scores to go along with 5 of 6 passing for 155 yards. Running back Dylan Rogers carried the ball five times for 112 yards and a score.

Blue was the Bulldogs leading rusher as he ran for 162 yards on 24 carries and two TDs. Also, Edgerton’s Carter Knecht caught three passes for 59 yards and a TD.

Delta is at Wauseon this week to kick off the NWOAL schedule.
