Indians stymied by Tinora

DEFIANCE – Wauseon was held without points until 1:48 left in the fourth quarter Friday where they fell on the road at Tinora, 31-6.

Junior Martinez led the Indian offense as he registered 62 yards on eight carries and had the team’s lone touchdown. Wauseon was outgained by Tinora 290-165, including a 270-45 advantage on the ground.

Wauseon quarterback Hunter Yackee hit on 9 of 12 passes for 106 yards.

Spencer Martin had 95 yards on seven carries and a pair of TDs for the Rams. In addition, Dalton Dachenhaus had 72 yards on 14 carries and another score.

Wauseon (0-3) returns home Friday when they welcome in Delta to begin the NWOAL schedule.
