BRYAN – In a crucial NWOAL boys soccer battle held Thursday at Bryan, presumptive NWOAL favorites Archbold and Bryan finished in a 0-0 tie.
The Blue Streaks put seven shots on goal to just one from the Golden Bears. Archbold goalkeeper Caleb Wooley stopped one shot while Bryan’s Evan Smith stopped all seven of the Streaks attempts.
Archbold (3-0-1, 0-0-1 NWOAL) is next at Pettisville on Wednesday to finish a contest that was postponed from Saturday, Aug. 27.
