Indian divers still unbeaten

The Wauseon summer diving team remained undefeated by winning duals against Bryan and Napoleon this week.

The Indians defeated Bryan 82-49 Tuesday, then bested Napoleon 88-17 on Thursday.

Against the Golden Bears, Wauseon’s Jordinn Heineman took first in the 8 and under girls division with a score of 62.75. Tristan Burkholder was first in the 8 and under boys division with a score of 72.4.

Alyssa Disanti won the 9-10 girls age group for Wauseon with a score of 89.15. Kohen Nofziger took first in the boys division.

In the girls 11-12 age group, Ashlyn Ledyard won for the Indians with a score of 125.5.

Carter Hite took home the title in the boys 13-14 age group, finishing with a 128.8 score.

The 17-18 girls and boys division’s both went to Wauseon. Alexys Carteaux was first with a 191.2 in the girls division, while Tony Schweinhagen won with a 183.85 in the boys division.

Halle Stevens (8 and under girls), Burkholder, Disanti, Nofziger, Ledyard, Hite, Audry Lane (15-16 girls), Patience Bachman (17-18 girls) and Schweinhagen all earned victories against Napoleon.
