Wauseon’s Austyn Schweinhagen competes in the diving portion of Tuesday’s meet. Schweinhagen ended up fourth and posted a score of 135.35.

Miles Kuntz swims in the boys 500-yard freestyle for Wauseon. He won the race with a time of 5:33.61.

The Wauseon swimming and diving team took second in a tri-meet with Perrysburg and Bryan they hosted on Tuesday.

In the boys meet, the Indians fell 104-67 to Perrysburg but defeated Bryan 89-68. On the girls side, Wauseon fell 96-73 versus Perrysburg, but they had a 93-78 victory over Bryan.

The Wauseon boys were led by Xander Ankney who grabbed wins in the 50 and 100-yard freestyle races. Also, Miles Kuntz finished first in the 500-yard freestyle for the boys.

Reese Ankney took first for the Wauseon girls in the 100-yard freestyle. She was runner-up in the 200-yard freestyle as well.

Also earning runner-up in individual races for the girls were Grace Rhoades in the 100-yard butterfly, Ashley Fisher in the 500-yard freestyle, and Alyssa DiSanti in diving.

Both Wauseon 400-yard freestyle relay teams, boys and girls, finished first.

Wauseon hosts a tri-meet next Tuesday as well, welcoming in Anthony Wayne and Bowling Green.
