BRYAN — The Montpelier Girls Golf Invitational was held Friday at Suburban Golf Course. Anthony Wayne won the tournament with a 330 team score and locally, Wauseon was fourth with a total of 418.

Leading the Indians was Calaway Gerken who made the all-tournament team. She tied for fifth with two other golfers and shot an 84. Next for Wauseon were Ashley Fisher with a 97, Jaylee Perez 101 and Jade Ramos 136.

Archbold’s JV team finished seventh with a score of 465. Hannah Downing shot a 110, Callie Casey 113, Brooklyn Rodriguez 116 and Kaylee Rodriguez 126.

The Archbold varsity finished first in the Defiance Elks Girls Golf Invitational that same day at Auglaize Country Club. Collectively they posted a 371 score.

Carly Grime tied for third and shot an 83, Aniyah Copeland shot a 92, and Brayton Huffman and Gabby Rodriguez shot an 88.
