Perrysburg bullpen stymies Wauseon

PERRYSBURG — Wauseon once led 5-4 but Perrysburg shut them out 6-0 over the game’s final four innings in a 10-5 win in non-league baseball Tuesday afternoon.

The Yellow Jackets’ starting pitcher struggled, however, relievers Connor Trczinski and Nick Hartzell went two innings apiece, allowing only one hit each and zero runs between them.

For the Wauseon offense, Kaden Clymer was 3 for 3 with a run batted in and a run scored. Will Sherman finished 2 for 3 and also drove in a run for the Indians.

Leading the Jackets was Ryan Thompson who went 1 for 3 with three RBIs and a run scored.

Wauseon (3-7) has a pair of Northwest Ohio Athletic League games coming up, as well as a non-league tilt. They visit Evergreen Thursday, host Delta Friday, and are at Lake on Saturday.
