Delta softball hosted Montpelier in NWOAL action Friday and came away with a close 7-6 decision. This came after falling to Patrick Henry the night before, 10-0, in six innings.
Against the Locomotives, Darian Elendt finished 3 for 4 at the plate. Delta’s Emily Clifton recorded the game-winning walk with the bases loaded. Hayley Callahan was the winning pitcher for the Panthers.
