Wauseon senior Marisa Seiler was selected Northwest Ohio Athletic League Player of the Year in girls basketball when the teams were announced last week.
Archbold’s Brian Ziegler received coach of the year honors.
Joining Seiler on the first team for Wauseon was Autumn Pelok. Kadence Carroll notched second team All-NWOAL honors for the Indians.
For Archbold, Leah McQuade was first team all-league and Addi Ziegler second team all-league. Bekah Bowser was on the first team for Evergreen while the Vikings’ Macy Chamberlin garnered second team all-league honors.
Delta and Swanton were not represented on the all-league first or second team; however, Sophia Burres and Khloe Weber were honorable mention all-league for the Panthers while Katlyn Floyd and Alaina Pelland received the same honor for the Bulldogs.
