Local boys recorded honors when the Northwest Ohio Scholastic Soccer Coaches Association all-district teams were announced recently.
Benicio Torres and Eli Delgado earned first team all-district honors for Wauseon in Division II. Gavin Gerig of Wauseon was second team all-district, while Braden Vajen made honorable mention.
Carson Chiesa of Delta was first team all-district in Division III. Quinn Wyse of Pettisville and Tyson Woodring of Evergreen were also on the first team.
Getting second team all-district honors were Nolan Risner of Delta, Evan Lumbrezer of Evergreen, Krayton Kern of Archbold and Zakkai Kaufmann of Pettisville.
Many in the area received honorable mention all-district honors in Division III. Among those were Dane Riley and Karson Rufenacht of Archbold; Cooper Tenney and Shane Kruger of Delta; Jon Burnep and Riley Dunbar of Evergreen; Bryce Beltz and Hayden Jones of Pettisville; and Hayden Callicotte of Swanton.
