Lady Streaks survive scare from Wauseon

Wauseon girls basketball held two-point leads at halftime and after three quarters at home against Archbold on Thursday, but were outscored 17-8 in the fourth to fall 41-34 in NWOAL action.

Kierstyn Repp led Archbold with 12 points, Kamryn Hostetler added 10 and Andi Peterson 9. Anna Marshall scored nine and Karli Penrod eight to pace Wauseon.

Wauseon outrebounded Archbold 26-24, but the Blue Streaks forced the Indians into 32 turnovers.

The Streaks return to league play on Jan. 28 when they travel to Delta. Wauseon travels to Fairview tomorrow for a non-league contest.
