Indians edge Bowling Green in girls hoops

Wauseon girls basketball returned to action Tuesday and picked up a 49-44 non-league win over Bowling Green at home.

The Indians shot 42 percent from the field in the victory. In addition, they outrebounded the Bobcats 34-19.

Rylee Campbell and Karli Penrod paced Wauseon in scoring as each finished with 14 points. Kendal Glandorf scored 14 for Bowling Green.

Wauseon is now off until next Tuesday when they host Defiance.
