DEFIANCE — Medalist Brayton Huffman led Archbold to a championship at the first official Northwest Ohio Athletic League girls golf tournament.

She shot a 42 on the back nine on the way to a score of 89 at Auglaize Golf Club Friday. Teammate Carly Grime had the second lowest overall score with a 93.

Those two led Archbold to a team score of 399, while Wauseon was second with 402. Also for the Streaks, Alli Bickel shot a 100 and Aniyah Copeland 117.

The Indians were led by Jordan King’s 94 and a 96 from Halle Frank. Ashley Fisher shot a 104 and Calaway Gerken 108.

Evergreen was fourth with a 488 team score. Chloe Creque paced the Vikings with a 97.

Delta finished fifth with a 498 score. Gabby Ford led the way with a 120.
