Wauseon golf won the 13-team Stryker Panther Invitational Saturday at Riverside Greens.

They won with a 323 team score, followed by Archbold who took second with a 328. For the Indians, Eric Parker notched a 78, Andy Scherer and Dylan Grahn each shot an 80, and Trent Armstrong 85.

The Bluestreaks were led by Kade Kern and Kreighton Sims who shot an 80, Mitch Grosjean 83, and A.J. Mahnke 85.

Also in the area, Fayette took fifth (353) and Pettisville seventh (370). Noah Brinegar had a 78 for the Eagles, while Tommy McWatters registered an 80 for the Blackbirds.

Two days earlier, Wauseon edged Patrick Henry and Delta 176-184-207 in a Northwest Ohio Athletic League tri-match at Ironwood. Parker and Scherer led the way with a 42, while Armstrong, Grahn and Caleb Leu each shot a 46. Jaxon Radabaugh added a 50 for the Indians.

Scoring for Delta were Zack Mattin with a 48, Brady Wymer 51, and Chase Stickley and Cael Chiesa who each shot a 54.
