Delta wins in overtime against Tinora

DEFIANCE – J.D. Osborn’s 20-yard gallop to the end zone lifted Delta to a 13-7 overtime victory at Tinora Friday in non-league action.

He was the game’s leading rusher, finishing with 81 yards on 14 carries and that touchdown. Tristen Saeger was next for the Panthers with 50 yards and a TD on 11 carries.

Delta held a 7-0 advantage for a majority of the game until a Max Grube 31-yard TD reception from Spencer Giesige in the fourth quarter. That was Grube’s only catch of the game.

Leading the Rams in rushing was Kyle Ordway, garnering 52 yards on 18 carries.

Delta (2-1) hosts Patrick Henry (0-3) this week to begin the Northwest Ohio Athletic League slate.
