Lady Indians place three in top ten

Wauseon held their lone home cross country meet of the season on Tuesday as their boys took second and their girls third in a meet which also featured Bowling Green and Springfield.

The boys had four runners in the top six, however, their next best runner finished 23rd. BG, with the help of eight runners in the top 20, overtook the Indians for first despite both teams having 33 points.

Representing Wauseon was Caleb Blanchong who took first, Christian Suarez who finished third, Aaron Beck fourth and Seth Hutchison sixth.

In the girls meet, BG was first with 29 points, Springfield second with 45 and Wauseon 52.

For the Indians, Brianna Coblentz took fifth, Amanda Stutzman seventh, Hannah Richer ninth, Seneca Wyse 14th and Vasti Becerill 18th.
