In the third edition of the OHSAA football computer rankings that were released on Tuesday, a pair of local teams remain in playoff position past the halfway point of the season.

While Wauseon did drop two spots, they come in at seventh in the rankings for Divison IV, Region 12. The decline is likely a result of defeating a winless Bryan team Friday night.

If the playoffs started today, the Indians would travel to Ottawa-Glandorf (5-1) of the Western Buckeye League.

In Division V, Region 16, Swanton moved up from seventh to fifth in the latest rankings. Swanton defeated rival Evergreen on Friday to move to 6-0 on the season.

The Bulldogs would travel Creston Norwayne (5-1) if the playoffs began today.

Also in Region 16, Archbold is in 12th place following a 7-6 victory over Patrick Henry.

In Division VI, Region 20, Delta sits at 11th place following a loss to Liberty Center, who is sixth in the region.
