The OHSAA released their second set of football computer rankings on Tuesday. In the county, both Wauseon and Swanton got high marks once again.

In Division IV, Region 12, the Indians (4-1) remain at fifth in the rankings after defeating rival Archbold, 15-7. They host a winless Bryan team for homecoming this week.

Swanton dropped from fourth to seventh in this week’s poll for Division V, Region 16. The Bulldogs, who defeated Bryan to move to 5-0 last week, return home to face Evergreen for homecoming on Friday.

Other highlights from the area, in Division VI Region 20, Evergreen dropped from 5th down to 11th after losing their first game of the season Friday against Liberty Center. Delta dropped from 8th to 12th after falling at Patrick Henry – the Panthers second blemish of the season.

The top eight teams in the region at the end of the regular season qualify for the playoffs. The top four host an opening round game.
