Wauseon Indians rank 10th in first football poll

The Wauseon football team is ranked 10th in the first Associated Press high school football poll of the season for Division IV.

Wauseon is in a tie at 10th with Chardon Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin. The Indians are 3-0 after a 42-10 win over Fairview in week one, 49-8 over Fostoria and 28-14 against Tinora this past week.

Steubenville is ranked first in Division IV. Ottawa-Glandorf is 3-0 and is ranked sixth.

Also in the area, Perrysburg is second and Springfield tied for tenth in Division II. Swanton is ranked 13th in Division V after three blowout wins in their non-league schedule.
