Wauseon took a 42-0 lead into halftime before taking their foot off the gas in the second half, adding a touchdown in the fourth quarter to win at Delta 48-0 Friday night.
The Indians finish the regular season with an 8-2 record. Delta dropped to 1-9.
Everett Bueter had a pair of touchdown runs of over 60 yards in the first half, while Xavier Torres also had a 60-yard score.
Other first half TDs came from Owen Newlove on a 46-yard pass from Hunter Yackee, and runs by Junior Martinez and Dawson Rupp.
Isaac Wilson added a TD in the fourth quarter to complete the scoring.
Wauseon racked up 409 yards of offense and held the Panthers to 88.
Bueter led the Indians on offense with 133 yards and a pair of TDs on three carries. Delta’s Travis Dunning finished with 54 yards on 16 carries.
Wauseon now heads back to the playoffs for the fourth time in five years as they will travel to Shelby (10-0) this Friday.

They can be picked up at the high school Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday at the high school from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and again from 6 to 8 p.m., then Friday from 7:30 to 8 a.m. at the middle school and from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the high school.
