Archbold boys soccer clinches league title

A Kaiden Bedsole hat trick powered Archbold over Liberty Center 5-0 Thursday at Spengler Field, clinching the Blue Streaks their third straight Northwest Ohio Athletic League boys soccer title.

Also, Bedsole became the program’s all-time leading scorer, currently with 59 career goals. He surpassed Brodie Nofziger (2011-13) who had 57 career goals.

Josh Kidder and Denver Beck had the other goals for Archbold (13-1-1, 5-0 NWOAL). Andrew Hogrefe (2), Trey Theobold, and Nick Waidelich had assists for the Streaks.

Archbold next hosts Woodmore tonight at 7 p.m.
