KSU welcomes Class of 2019 local residents

Kent State University

KENT – Kent State University welcomes its highest-achieving freshman class ever and continues strong university enrollment. These academically motivated freshmen have an average GPA of 3.35 and an average ACT score of above 23; both are increases over last year and records for an incoming Kent campus freshman class.

The following area students are among the more than 6300 newly enrolled students comprising the Kent State University Class of 2019.

Archbold: Jesus Rocha and Kennedy Wyse.

Delta: Madeline Sugg.

Fayette: Shelby Vine.

Swanton: Nicole Schnabel and Christen Wheeler.

Wauseon: Emily Bray, Taylor Demaline, Elizabeth Garlinger and Nicole Mabus.

Miami University (Ohio)

OXFORD – Miami University student Seth Yoder spent the summer 2015 semester in Nicaragua as part of a study abroad group. Yoder, from Archbold, is a junior majoring in biology.

Ohio Christian University

CIRCLEVILLE – Aubrey Geis of Delta has enrolled at Ohio Christian University in Circleville, Ohio for the fall 2015 semester. Geis is majoring in sports management and business. She is among the new students who began classes Aug. 26.
