Quilts, fine handcrafted furniture and toys, sports tickets, gift cards and much more will be auctioned Friday, April 7 in Founders Hall at Sauder Village in Archbold.
This two-evening event begins Thursday, April 6. Preview live auction items, bid on silent auction items, purchase homemade baked goods, potted spring flowers or shop the Ten Thousand Villages Booth. Thursday and Friday, purchase gift boxes filled with gift cards and other items. View and interact at Fairlawn displays; test your grip strength or try your hand at painting using the Opening Minds Thru Art technique.
Thursday supper by donation is served 4:30 – 7:30 p.m. and includes Philly Steak subs, mac and cheese, homemade side dishes, pie and Homestead ice cream.
The Friday supper includes sandwiches and baked potato bar and is served 4-7 p.m. The auction begins at 5 pm with a live auctioneer and MC.
The Featured Quilt, “Circling Stars” was pieced and hand quilted by experienced area quilters, volunteering 350 hours. This is just one of many quilts for auction Friday, along with handcrafted furniture and toys. Sporting tickets include Detroit Tigers, Toledo Mud Hens and other major teams.
