Museum Hours

The Fulton County Historic Society museum hours are Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. 229 Monroe St., Wauseon.

Admission rates are $4 for adults, $3 for seniors and $2 for children, with members free.

Grade School Reunion

Saturday, Aug. 22 at 1 p.m. at Homecoming Park, Wauseon. All past students, teachers and staff are invited to a potluck luncheon. Bring a dish to pass.

Thursday Community Meal

Thursday, Aug. 20, from 5 to 6:30 p.m., the Christ United Methodist Church, 215 N. Fulton St, offers an evening meal and fellowship to the public. This program is offered by the Wauseon Ministerial Association, the Wauseon Lions Club and other volunteers.

The folks from the Wauseon Fire Department will be in the kitchen, for food, fellowship and fun.

Farmers’ Market

Every Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wauseon Downtown Association has a farmers’ market on North Fulton Street across the street from the Wauseon Chamber of Commerce.

Local produce and other items from area producers available. Get it fresh at the farmers’ market.

OPERS Meeting

Tuesday, Aug. 18, with meeting starting at 1:30 p.m. Wauseon site of Fulton County Senior Service Center. District 81st rep Robert McColley, Ohio House of Representatives will be the program for OPERS.


Wednesday, Aug. 19, starting at 9 a.m. until its gone. Friends In Service to Humanity will distribute free food at First Christian Church, 129 E. Elm St. Availability based on need. Must have proof of income and photo ID.

Cruise Nights

Every Tuesday in July and August, come on down to downtown Wauseon for Cruise Nights. Fulton Street will be closed from 5 to 9 p.m.

Tuesday, Aug. 18 is the last Super Cruise for 2015, where an abundance of vehicles and local food stands that will line Fulton Street.

Come out, see your neighbors, look at the cars and trucks, enjoy some music and some street food Tuesday evenings at Cruise and Super Cruise Nights.



Bingo at Legion

Sundays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. American Legion Post #373 at 5939 State Highway 109. Eggs any way, sausages, pancakes, biscuits and gravy with toast, coffee and juice. Adults $7.25, children ages 6 to 12, $4.50 and under 3 is free.

Bingo every Tuesday with doors open at 5 p.m.; lightning rounds of bingo at 6 p.m.; regular bingo at 7 p.m. Public welcome.

‘Grief Share’

Shiloh Christian Union Church, located at 2100 County Road 5, will conduct a 13 week video seminar for grief support. The series begins Sunday, Aug. 16 at 7 p.m. There is no cost or registration needed.

“Grief Share,” helps provide encouragement after the death of a spouse, child, family member or friend.

Friday, Aug. 22 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Fayette Church of the Nazarene, 511 S. Fayette St. Please bring positive photo ID or Red Cross Donor Card. Be in good physical health. Walk-ins welcome.
