The trial for the man accused of abducting and murdering 20-year-old Sierah Joughin was rescheduled Tuesday for Jan. 16, 2018.
The trial of James D. Worley of rural Delta is set to last up to four weeks.
Worley was indicted by a Fulton County grand jury last August on 19 counts that included two counts of murder, two counts of abduction, four counts of kidnapping, two counts of aggravated murder, one count of gross abuse of a corpse, and one count of tampering with evidence.
More than 50 pretrial motions have been filed by Worley’s attorney, Mark Berling. A motion hearing is scheduled for two days beginning June 8.
