Locals earn college honors

Fulton County residents have been named to Fall 2016 honors lists at their respective colleges.

At Miami University in Oxford, Ohio:

Chelsey Miller of Swanton was named to the Dean’s List. She maintained a grade point average of 3.5 or better.

Paige Peterson and Gavin Morton, both of Archbold, and Eden Eisel of Metamora were named to the President’s List. They rank in the top three percent of undergraduate students within each division for the first semester.

At Trine University in Angola, Ind.:

Brook Hardy of Wauseon and Cassidy Williams of Wauseon earned places on the President’s List. To qualify, a main campus student must maintain a minimum 3.75 GPA an at least 15 credit hours.

The following area students were named to the Dean’s List: Joshua Cerda of Fayette, Jensyn Garrow of Archbold, Elias King of Wauseon, Kevin Moden of Wauseon, and Kelsey Ortiz of Swanton.

To be named to the Dean’s List, a main campus student must maintain at least 15 credit hours and have a GPA between 3.5 and 3.749.

The University of Dayton:

Taylor Vernot and Mary Spieles, both of Wauseon, were named to the Fall 2016 Dean’s List. Qualified students must achieve a minimum 3.5 GPA for the semester..
