Woman sentenced for theft

The following individual was sentenced recently by Judge James E. Barber in Fulton County Common Pleas Court, according to Prosecutor Scott Haselman.

Shannon Baumbarger, 34, of Napoleon, previously pleaded guilty to grand theft. On or about July 9, 2016, she stole a rifle.

She was sentenced to three years of community control, and ordered to: pay prosecution costs and court-appointed counsel fees; seek and maintain employment; pay $1,525 restitution to the victims; successfully complete the Serenity Haven drug treatment program and all aftercare; have no contact with the victims; stay out of bars; and not possess or consume alcohol or any illegal substances.

Failure to comply could result in 30 months in prison.
