Museum Hours

The Fulton County Historic Society is proud to announce 2015 museum hours. Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. 229 Monroe St., Wauseon.

Admission rates are $4 for adults, $3 for seniors and $2 for children, with members free.

Grade School Reunion

Saturday, Aug. 22 at 1 p.m. at Homecoming Park, Wauseon. All past students, teachers and staff are invited to a potluck luncheon. Bring a dish to pass.


Thursday Community Meal

Thursday, Aug. 6, from 5 to 6:30 p.m., the Christ United Methodist Church, 215 N. Fulton St, offers an evening meal and fellowship to the public. This program is offered by the Wauseon Ministerial Association, the Wauseon Lions Club and other volunteers.

The folks from St. Caspar Catholic Church will be in the kitchen, for food, fellowship and fun.

Farmers’ Market

Every Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wauseon Downtown Association has a farmers’ market on North Fulton Street across the street from the Wauseon Chamber of Commerce.

Local produce and other items from area producers available, as well as live music, crafts and other activities. Get it fresh at the farmers’ market. Now through Oct. 10.

Cruise Nights

Every Tuesday in July and August, come on down to downtown Wauseon for Cruise Nights. Fulton Street will be closed from 5 to 9 p.m.

Aug. 18 is the last Super Cruise for 2015. There are an abundance of vehicles and local food stands that will line Fulton Street.

Come out, see your neighbors, look at the cars and trucks, enjoy some music and some street food Tuesday evenings at Cruise and Super Cruise Nights.

‘Live a Life

of No Regrets’

Thursday, Aug. 6 at 7 p.m. Emmaus Lutheran Church, 841 N. Shoop Ave. Come experience Robert Rogers in person discussing his faith and his life’s journey. He experienced tragedy of Biblical proportions when a flood in 2003 wiped out his wife and all four children.

An accomplished worship leader, pianist, song writer and author of “Into the Deep,” he teaches others to live a life of no regrets.

Mexican Food

Friday, Aug. 7 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.VFW Ladies Auxiliary Unit #7424 will serve tacos, burritos and nachos. Located at 1133 N, Ottokee St., the meal is open to the public. Come on out and support our veterans and their families.

Life Beyond Today

Monday, Aug. 10 at 7 p.m. Pope John XXIII Room at St. Caspar Catholic Church. Since the fall of 2006, Wauseon’s nondenominational bereavement group to ease one through the grieving process.

Bingo at Legion

Sundays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. American Legion Post #373 at 5939 State Highway 109. Eggs any way, sausages, pancakes, biscuits and gravy with toast, coffee and juice. Adults $7.25, children ages 6 to 12, $4.50 and under 3 is free.

Every Tuesday, doors open at 5 p.m.; lightning rounds of bingo at 6 p.m.; regular bingo at 7 p.m. Public welcome.

Ice Cream Social,

Block Party

Saturday, Aug. 8 from 2 to 7 p.m. Delta United Methodist Church, located at 101 Northwood Drive will host a block party and ice cream social.

Chicken quarters, homemade ice cream, sloppy Joes, hot dogs, homemade pie, potato salad, free kid’s games, jump house, arts and crafts booths will be available. Sunny Day Preschool is holding their Open house from 3-5 p.m. on the same day.
