The Apple Dumpling Festival will be held Saturday in Delta. The fun will begin at 10 a.m. in downtown Delta.
Those with a knack for pie making can bring up a pumpkin or apple pie before 1 p.m. for the pie judging contest. Judging begins at 1:30 p.m.
The Little Miss/Mister contest will begin at 2 p.m. Youngsters dress up in a cute outfit or costume. Line up is at 1:45 p.m. The event is for kids ages 10 and younger.
In addition to the Apple Dumpling Fest, the Delta Chamber of Commerce will hold a Citizens of the Year Reception later this month. On Sept. 22, Jay and Marcy LeFevre will be honored.
