Sauder Village in Archbold invites home school families from throughout the region to Home School Appreciation Days from Sept. 6-10 and Sept. 13-17.

“Our costumed guides and working craftsmen help bring history to life for students of all ages,” said Kim Krieger, PR/media relations. “Home School Appreciation Days are a great time for home school families to have fun in the past while learning something new at Sauder Village.”

Throughout the Home School Appreciation Days a variety of STEAM (science, technology, education, arts, and math) activities have been planned for children, including marshmallow towers, catapult, marble maze, and an engineering challenge.

As a special for Home School Appreciation Week, home school families that call to make reservations will receive a special discount of $7 admission per person for ages three and older. Guests must call 800-590-9755 and pre-register to receive this special home school discount.
