Local students earn degrees, academic honors

Kent State University

KENT – Kent State University has announced those students who earned their degree at the end of the spring semester of the 2014-15 academic year.

To earn summa cum laude honors, the student must earn an accumulative grade point average of 3.8oo or higher.

Swanton: Maria Avila, Bachelor of Science, College of Education, Health and Human Services and Chelsea Bolling, Bachelor of Business Administration College of Business Administration.

Wauseon: Rebekah Tefft, Bachelor of Arts, College of Arts and Sciences, summa cum laude.

Bethel University

ST. PAUL, Minn. – Rachel Johnson of Archbold was named to the Dean’s List for academic excellence for the spring 2015 semester at Bethel University in St. Paul, Minn. The Dean’s List honors students who achieve an outstanding scholastic record during a semester with a grade point average of 3.6 or greater.

College of Wooster

WOOSTER, Ohio — Natasha Foley, a graduate of Notre Dame Academy, has been named to the Dean’s List for the spring semester at the College of Wooster. Foley, a sophomore from Swanton, achieved a grade point average of 3.65 or above.
