Flag City Water Systems, a Findlay based water treatment company and Authorized, Independent Kinetico Dealer has announced that it has acquired Unity Water Conditioning. Unity Water Conditioning founded in 1978 is one of Northwest Ohio’s leading Kinetico water treatment companies based in West Unity.

Unity Water Conditioning will now be Unity Water Systems, a dealership in the Flag City Water Systems group. Unity Water Systems will join Flag City Water Systems and Central Soft Water Systems as a stand-alone company; plans are to maintain and build on Unity Water Systems’ operations from its existing offices in West Unity and Wauseon.

Expansion of the Commercial and Industrial Water Treatment arm of Unity Water will be immediate.

Terry Rupp, former Unity Water Conditioning owner, has chosen Flag City Water Systems to partner with Unity Water to carry on the long tradition of great service and quality Kinetico products to all of Unity Water’s existing and future customers.

Flag City Water Systems began serving customers in 1979 with a vision of offering an unparalleled level of reliability, quality products, and customer service within the water treatment industry. Over that time they’ve forged many long-term partnerships with clients requiring creative solutions, quality service, and proactive communications. Ultimately, they believe their vision has been achieved and now is the time to begin creating a new vision; one that produces even greater opportunities for employees, associates, and most importantly, customers.

In 2001 Flag City Water Systems obtained Superior Water Conditioning based in Fremont, Ohio, in 2013 they purchased Central Soft Water Service out of Coldwater, Ohio. After this latest acquisition of Unity Water Conditioning this family owned group of Kinetico dealerships will service 21 counties in Ohio, Michigan and Indiana.

Through this acquisition customers will have the benefit of four retail locations in Ohio in Findlay, Coldwater, West Unity and Wauseon. The experienced and knowledgeable staff at these locations have a combined 150 + years in the industry. The administrative, service and sales teams will continue to work out of these locations to provide the best possible service and options for all water treatment needs. In addition, self-serve water filling stations from these dealerships are located in Findlay, Continental, Ottawa, North Baltimore, Coldwater, West Unity, Wauseon, and Oakwood for your convenience.
