Head Start promotes school readiness of preschool children by enhancing their cognitive, social and emotional development in a learning environment that supports children’s growth in language, literacy, mathematics, science, social and emotional functioning, creative arts, and physical skills. NOCAC classrooms offer Bachelor degreed teachers, nutritious meals and a learning curriculum that follows the Ohio Early Learning Pre-K Standards.
All Head Start Preschool sites are licensed by the Ohio Department Of Job and Family Services. Transportation is provided in most, but not all areas. Parents of children with disabilities are encouraged to apply.
