Wauseon Public Library has full celendar of events


The Wauseon Public Library has a full calendar of events coming up.

On Wednesday, Jan. 18 at 4:30 p.m. the library will be hosting a Process Art program. Process Art is the experience of creating something for the “process” instead of the outcome.

The writers group “The Authors” will be meeting on Thursday, Jan. 19, at 3:30 p.m. Pickup week for the Card-Making Grab & Go will be the week of January 23-27.

A new Lego program, “Once Upon a Brick” will kick off on Wednesday, Jan. 25 at 3 p.m., and a new chess club, “Books & Rooks,” will start on Friday, Jan. 27 at 3:30 p.m. These programs are open to all ages.

The Mystery Book Discussion will be hosted at the Library on Tuesday, Jan. 24 at 6 p.m. Attendees are asked to arrive early.

Director Keri Black’s new Historical Fiction Book Club will begin on Thursday, March 2, at 6:30 p.m. Head Librarian Dan Baldwin is looking for teens interested in starting a Teen Book Discussion, so email him at [email protected] for details.

Children’s Librarian Kenzie’s Tuesday morning Storytime will resume on Jan. 31 at 11:30 a.m., and Thursday evening Storytime will start up again on Feb. 9, at 4:30 p.m.

New Adult Programming Librarian Amber will be hosting a Crafting Circle on Thursday, Feb. 16 at 6:30 p.m. NOCAC is providing computer literacy assistance in the library’s meeting room every second Monday of the month from 12-4 p.m.
