The Swanton Public Library has announced the adult programs it has planned for the month of December.
Gretchen’s Book Club
Gretchen’s Book Club will meet on Dec. 8 at 5:30pm. December’s book is “The Match” by Harlan Coben.
Copies of the book in multiple formats are available behind the front desk, so stop in and check out your copy today.
Pet Pictures with Santa
Santa will be at the library from 11 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Dec. 10 to take photos with your furry friends. Photos will be available digitally or printed upon request. All Santa asks is for either a donation to the FOSPL or to the Fulton County Humane Society.
Don’t forget to check the list of requested supplies on the library Facebook page before stopping in.
Swanton Area Robotics Club
Are you mechanically or technologically minded? Are you interested in robots? Do you want to be interested in robots? Look no further. The SARC is open to everyone both new and experienced.
This program is open to everyone age 17 or older and is free to attend. No registration required. The club meets Dec. 12 starting at 5 p.m.
Don’t have time for a proper campaign? Join one of the librarians for a mini-dungeon or two. The library’s own professional dungeon master will be on hand Dec. 13 and 27 starting at 5 p.m. to help you on your evening adventures.
This program is free to attend and no registration is required—just stop on in.
Seam-Rippers Sewing Club
Do you have some free time in the mornings and want to brush up on your sewing skills? Do you have some sewing projects and just want a little company while you work? Lucky for you, the Seam Rippers are back this month on Dec. 14 at 10:30 a.m.
No registration is required and walk-ins are encouraged. Packed lunches are welcome and encouraged. All you need is yourself and your newest sewing project.
Miniature Art Show
Stop by the library in December and look at what your fellow patrons have created. The entries for the miniature art show will be display until the New Year. You can even vote on your favorite piece.
