Enjoy a taste of the 1920s at the Broken Barrel Speakeasy After Hours events on Main Street at Sauder Village. Register now for the limited-seating events to be held April 7, 21, and 28 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Shrouded in secrecy since its opening, the Broken Barrel Speakeasy is hidden deep inside the 1920s Main Street at Sauder Village in Archbold. At this special evening event, you will be whisked back to the 1920s as your bartender guides you through an elevated bar menu of Prohibition cocktails prepared with house-made syrups, juices, and fresh herbs grown at Sauder Village. The Prohibition cocktails are concocted with the finest bourbon, vodka, gin, bitters, and mixers that the six Prohibition distilleries have to offer.

A selection of fine wines, craft and Prohibition beers are also on tap. A variety of unique appetizers will also be available for purchase.

“Pre-registration is required to enjoy cocktails and appetizers with friends or co-workers at our After Hours event,” shared Kim Krieger, Media Relations Manager at Sauder Village. “The $15 fee covers your first drink and admission for the After Hours. 1920s attire is welcome or just come as you are for a memorable evening at our Broken Barrel Speakeasy!”

Guests can find more information and pre-register for the Speakeasy After Hours at www.saudervillage.org/BrokenBarrelSpeakeasy.

The After Hours events are open to patrons 21 and over. The $15 registration fee is non-refundable and covers your first drink and admission to the Speakeasy After Hours. Pre-registered guests should gather in the 1920s theater lobby at the reserved time for entrance to the Speakeasy. Additional drinks and tantalizing appetizers will be available for purchase. Parking is available in the 1920s parking lot near the 1920s Main Street at Sauder Village.

Additional After Hours events will be held throughout the season in addition to the immersive Speakeasy Experiences offered by reservation only on Fridays and Saturdays once the Historic Village opens for the 2022 season.
