Locals earn university honors


The dean’s list for the fall 2021 semester at the University of Findlay has been announced. Local students on the list include Samantha Aeschliman, Wauseon; Tayler Common, Swanton; Jessica French, Wauseon; Ava Hoylman, Pettisville; Chase Moore, Swanton; Matthew Rupp, Archbold; and Alexandrea Sauber, Wauseon.

Two local Youngstown State University students have been named to the Dean’s List for Fall Semester 2021. They are Trenton Peluso of Swanton and Ryan Scherer of Wauseon.

Dean’s List recognition is awarded to full-time undergraduate students who have earned at least a 3.4 grade point average for not less than 12 semester hours of credit in the Fall semester.

Trine University students were named to the President’s List and Dean’s List for the Fall 2021 term. To earn President’s List honors, students must complete a minimum of 12 hours and have a grade point average of 3.750-4.000. To earn Dean’s List honors, students must complete a minimum of 12 hours and have a grade point average of 3.500-3.749.

Locals on the President’s List were Amanda Baker of Delta, Chloe Bard of Fayette, Alexa Kessler of Metamora, Chandler Ruetz of Swanton, Haylee Smith of Wauseon, Chase Stickley of Delta, Hunter Thourot of Wauseon, Augustus Tipping of Metamora.

Local students on the Dean’s List were Jonah Blanchard of Wauseon, Adam Dumas of Swanton, Cory Erbskorn of Archbold, and Mykah Garrison of Wauseon.

Aaron King of Wauseon completed requirements for a degree from Trine University at the end of the Fall 2021 semester. King earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering at Trine.

Kyle McCarley of Delta, graduated with a degree in speech pathology from James Madison University during commencement exercises in December 2021.
