Delta High School students will take the stage this weekend to present the well-known musical “Guys and Dolls.”
The leads include Logan Albring as Nathan Detroit; Mary Miller as Miss Adelaide; Ethan Jessing as Sky Masterson; Annemarie Thomas as Sarah Brown; Aaron Johnston as Nicely-Nicely Johnson; and Noah Schneider as Benny Southwest.
“The cast and stage crew are doing a great job. I believe we are right where we should be in our rehearsal process,” Jessica Hagerty, musical director, said Wednesday morning. “With our two remaining rehearsals these students will be ready to perform for an audience. After the kids put on their costumes, there was a complete transformation into their characters. It’s going to be a great show.”
Performances will be held Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday at 2 p.m. Tickets will be available today, Thursday, in the Delta High School ticket booth from 6:30-8:30 p.m. They are also available one hour before each performance.
General reserved seating is $8. Gold Star seating, which is the first eight rows in the center, is $12.
“‘Guys and Dolls’ has an entertaining and humorous story line that takes place on the streets of New York and is filled with heartfelt music along with music to dance to,” Hagerty said. “We hope to see you there.”
