Here are the latest details on how the COVID-19 pandemic is impacting the area:
• Fulton County reported a spike in cases among children early this week.
There were 86 new cases reported by the Fulton County Health Department from Nov. 5-8 and 60 more new cases reported on Tuesday.
Those 19 years old and younger accounted for 45 of the cases. Those in their 30s accounted for 28 of the new cases in the county.
Four new COVID-19 deaths were reported early this week Health Department. There have now been 106 deaths in the county.
The deaths included two people in their 60s and two people in their 70s.
One new hospitalization was reported, for a total of 351.
The total number of cases reported in Fulton County is now 6,396. The median age of COVID cases is 43.
In the county, positive cases have included 3,380 females and 2,791 males. The case rate over the last two weeks was 505.6 in Fulton County and 354.3 overall in Ohio.
• The Wauseon zip code had the highest number of new COVID-19 cases in Fulton County last week, while Archbold had the highest rate.
Wauseon had 83 cases and a rate of 626.6 per 100,000 people. Archbold had 61 cases and a rate of 923.
The lowest rates were in eastern Fulton County. Metamora had 5 new cases for a rate of 368.2 per 100,000 and the Swanton zip code had a rate of 458.1 with 58 cases.
• The level of community transmission of coronavirus in Fulton County is listed as high by the Centers for Disease Control. The levels are low, moderate, substantial, then high.
Indoor mask wearing is recommended in areas with substantial or high transmission.

• In Fulton County, 47.8% of residents have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. The age range with the highest percentage in the county is 70-74 years old, according to Ohio Department of Health data.
Among the 75-79 age group, 85.87% have been vaccinated, with 85.01% of residents 80 and older vaccinated.
Among younger Fulton County residents, 13.98% of those 19 and under are vaccinated and 37.88% of those in their 20s.
• The Fulton County Health Department on Wednesday released the vaccination status of cases reported last week. The majority of new cases were among the unvaccinated, at 58.5%.
Another 12.5% had an unknown vaccination status. That is either people who were vaccinated in another state or are not vaccinated.
For the week, 29% of new cases were from people fully vaccinated and 0% partially vaccinated individuals.
• COVID-19 vaccine is available Mondays at the FCHD from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Vaccine is also available at Rite Aid locations in Archbold, Swanton and Wauseon, the Wauseon Walmart, and Swanton Kroger.
•The Health Department will offer the vaccine clinic for 5-11 year olds on Nov. 18 from 2-6 p.m. Appointments are required.
