Solutions from the Farm: Opportunities to Reduce Nutrient Loss,” an agriculture workshop, will be held Thursday, March 10, from 5:30-8 p.m., at the Robert Fulton Agriculture Center, 8770 State Route 108 in Wauseon.
This workshop will offer speakers talking about the importance of Lake Erie, Senate Bill 1 requirements, current sign-up opportunities with the Farm Service Agency, and Natural Resources Conservation Service. Jocelyn Henderson of the Ohio Department of Agriculture will explain the Ohio Western Lake Erie Basin programs and Regional Conservation Partnership Program Tri-State phosphorus reduction project. Mike Weaver from Natural Resources Conservation Service will explain the application process for these programs and how to make it competitive.
