Pastor Lance Wyse with his wife Maria and their son.

Haven Heights Baptist church on N. Ottokee Street in Wauseon is happy to welcome a new pastor. Pastor Lance Wyse will begin his ministry there on Sunday, June 28.

Pastor Wyse is a native of Archbold. He is the son of Patrick and Carleen Wyse. Pastor Wyse has a Master’s degree from Kent State. He was chapter president of Campus Crusade for Christ at the KSU and worked with the youth at Maplewood Christian Church in Ravenna, Ohio. While serving in this church, he felt called to the ministry.

After graduation from KSU, he attended Southern Seminary in Louisville, Ky., and graduated with a Master’s degree in Divinity. Pastor Wyse, his wife Maria and their young son are excited about living in Wauseon and look forward to meeting new friends and renewing past friendships. They want to become an active part of the community.
