The Delta Public Library has a bevy of events and activities taking place in January.
Through Jan. 22 children in grade K-4 can enter the Winter Contest to try to win a winter activity pad and a snowman sucker. Contest sheets are available at the children’s desk.
On Jan. 16, the Lego Club will meet, with the theme “Creationary.” Grades K-2, 10 a.m., grade 3 and up, 11 a.m..
A Winnie the Pooh Party will be held Jan. 15 at 4 p.m. for children age 5-9. There will be games, fun facts, a short video, birthday cake, and punch. Register at the children’s desk.
It’s “Teen Minute to Win It Madness” on Jan. 21 from 3:30-5 p.m. Open to all teens and tweens in grades 5-12. There will be games to win prizes, and a snack will be provided.
The Card Class will make valentine cards Jan. 23 from 10 a.m.- noon. Cost is $5, and registration is required.
Winter story times are Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. Geared toward ages 4-5 but all ages are welcome. Activities include stories, finger plays, games, puppet shows, and crafts.
