A juvenile driver led both a Fulton County Sheriff’s Office deputy and a Morenci, Mich., police officer on separate chases Monday before being taken into custody.
The driver sped off in a 1999 Grand Cherokee on US 20A near State Route 109 after the deputy attempted a traffic stop by activating emergency lights and siren. The vehicle was located a short time later, and the driver apprehended.
The driver was charged with reckless driving, no valid operator’s license, and failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer. The sheriff’s office was assisted by the Delta and Wauseon police departments and the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Earlier, the same driver was involved in a chase with a Morenci police officer, who also attempted a traffic stop.
