The Pettisville Adult Education series will open Monday, Jan. 4, 2016, 7 p.m., in the Pettisville Agriculture Room.
Isaac Weber of Center Seeds will share his experiences with cover crops. Topics will include: “Why cover crops?” “An ecological farming system.” “Concepts for cover cropping.” “Different ways to get crops established.” “Using cover crops as a high value forage.” Weber will also touch on successes and failures he has seen.
He is the regional cover crop specialist for Ohio, Michigan, Indian, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.
