Parkinson’s Support Group

FCCC Parent-Teacher Days

Four County Career Center’s Parent-Teacher Get Acquainted Days, Nov. 24, 5:30-8:30 p.m., Nov. 25, 8:15 a.m. to noon. Parents can schedule in advance to meet and talk with instructors. Visit school classrooms and labs.

Museum Hours

The Fulton County Historic Society museum hours are Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. 229 Monroe St., Wauseon.

Admission rates are $4 for adults, $3 for seniors and $2 for children, with members free.

WHS Parent-Teacher


Wauseon High School, for grades 9-12, Thursday, Nov. 19, and Monday, Nov. 23, 6-9 p.m. Teachers meet with parents in classrooms to review student progress. No appointments necessary, but sign in at the office.

Community meal

Every Thursday, Christ UMC, 215 N. Fulton St., 5-7 p.m. Nov. 19: St. Caspar’s Catholic Church mans the kitchen.

Hoop Shoot

Annual Hoop Shoot hosted by Swanton Elks Lodge #2462, Saturday, Nov. 21, 9 a.m. to noon, Swanton Middle School Seeking participants from 8 to 13 years old. Registration starts at 9 a.m., so please be prompt. Must have birth certificate when filling out registration forms.

Santa letters

The Swanton American Legion Auxiliary ladies will help Santa answer his Christmas letters. The Legion auxiliary will answer every “Dear Santa” letter received with a personal note and token from Santa. All letters kept confidential; deadline is Dec. 18. Address them to: Dear Santa Claus, c/o Swanton American Legion Post, 200 S. Hallett Ave., Swanton, Ohio 43558.
