HIRAM, Ohio – Hiram College is pleased to announce the members of the Dean’s List for spring 2015. The Dean’s List honors all students with a 3.6 or higher GPA for the semester. Faith Lemon of Wauseon was included in the spring semester Dean’s List.
ASHLAND, Ohio – The administration at Ashland University has announced their Dean’s List for the spring semester of the 2014-15 academic year. To be eligible for this honor, a student must be enrolled full time at Ashland University and achieve at least a 3.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale.
Jennifer Lindsay of Archbold, Haley Mossing of Swanton and Ashley Prentiss of Wauseon were named. Mossing is a 2011 graduate for P-D-Y High School and Prentiss is a 2013 graduate of Evergreen High School.
Lindsay and Mossing is a 2015 graduates of Ashland University.
CANTON, Ohio – Malone University celebrated its 123rd commencement exercised with the graduation of the Class of 2015 on Saturday, May 9. Commencement speaker was David Baker, president and executive director of the Professional Football Hall of Fame. Kyle Calderhead, Ph.D., associate professor of mathematics, served as the baccalaureate speaker.
Local resident who earned their degree was Amy Christman of Archbold. She earned a Bachelors of Art in youth/educational ministries.
University of Akron
AKRON – The administration of the University of Akron announced recently that more than 3,400 students who made the spring 2015 Dean’s List.
In that list, Andrew Hanson and David Hench, both of Wauseon qualified for the spring Dean’s List.
The pursuit of academic excellence during the spring 2015 semester by more than 800 of UA’s finest was truly inspiring. Tessa Herring of Wauseon is one of those outstanding individuals. She earned a perfect 4.0 semester GPA.
University of Findlay
FINDLAY – The administration of the University of Findlay has announced that more than 100 students are completing summer internships.
Local students include Jacob Ott of Archbold. He is a safety intern for Miller Brothers Construction in Archbold.
Also Kirsten Fruchey of Wauseon. She is a member of the kitchen crew at Old Faithful Inn for Yellowstone National Park Lodges in Yellowstone National Park, Wyo.
Mercy College of Ohio
TOLEDO – The administration of Mercy College of Ohio has announced those students were awarded honors for the 2015 spring semester.
To be named on the President’s List, a student must achieve a 4.0 GPA and be enrolled for 14 or more credit hours.

To be named on the Dean’s List, a student must achieve a grade point average of [3.3 or higher and be enrolled for 12 or more credit hours.

To be named on the Honor’s List, a student must achieve a grade point average of 3.3 or higher and be enrolled for 6-11 credit hours.

Eastern Mennonite University
HARRISONBURG, Va. – The following students were recognized as members of the Dean’s List for the spring semester of the 2014-15 academic year at Eastern Mennonite University, Harrisonburg, Va.
To qualify for the Dean’s List a student must achieve a semester grade point average of at least 3.750 or above and complete at least 12 semester hours of credit.
