Fulton County incumbents experienced varied success in the general election held Tuesday.
Delta mayor Dan Miller held off challenger Bob Gilbert, a councilman. Miller received 486 votes to 380 for Gilbert, according to unofficial results.
Swanton mayor Ann Roth also withstood a challenge. She defeated Ron Moore 687 votes to 388.
In Fayette, longtime mayor Ruth B. Marlatt was defeated by councilman Dave Borer. Borer garnered 281 votes to 83 for Marlatt.
Councilman Kenneth Wysong has won the Metamora mayoral race, according to unofficial results. He defeated Richard O. Sauerlender 90-79.
In Wauseon, the three candidates appearing on the ballot won the three seats on council. Shane Chamberlin received 1,303 votes, Jeff Stiriz 1,272 and Scott Stiriz 1,176. Rebecca Martinez ran as a write-in candidate, but only 266 write-in votes were made.
In Archbold both Kevin Morton and Kevin Eicher retained their council seats. They will be joined by Brian Huffman. Morton received 914 votes, Huffman 895, Eicher 826 and Lisa A. Bumb 689, according to unofficial results.
Jeff Pilliod and Dianne Westhoven have won the race for village council in Swanton, according to unofficial results.
Current council president Craig Rose was third. Pilliod had 592 votes, Westhoven 500 and Rose 399, according to unofficial results. Scott Herrick was fourth with 190 votes and Michael A. Westmeyer fifth with 176 votes.
In Clinton Township, Nancy Yackee defeated Zachary Riley to become the next fiscal officer. Yackee garnered 1,683 votes to 833 for Riley.
In Swancreek Township, Phil Wiland will return to the trustees following a win on Tuesday. He received 934 votes, while Sally Wylie had 773 and incumbent Pamela Moore had 748.
Also in Swancreek Township, Jo M. Stultz will become fiscal officer after topping Rhonda Dicke 1,137-929.
Michael Kinsman has held onto his trustee seat in Franklin Township, according to the unofficial results. He had 140 votes to 107 for Mark Ballmer.
Julie Szabo came out on top in a three-way race for Fulton Township fiscal officer. She had 533 votes, Misty Cass 204 and Jennifer Harkey 173.
In Gorham Township, Melanie Fruchey came out on top in a tight race. Unofficial results show her winning 338-322 over Michael Figgins.
There was also a tight race for Royalton Township Trustee. Incumbent Bill Smith appears to have held off challenger Neil Shaw by a margin of 238-221.
In York Township, incumbent Thomas C. Tedrow won with 455 votes, followed by Joe Howard with 360 and Troy Weber with 240.
In the race for two Wauseon Board of Education seats incumbent Larry L. Fruth came out on top with 1,753 votes. Stacia Radabaugh grabbed the second seat with 1,450 votes, while Mark Shadbolt was third with 1,206.
In the Archbold Board of Education race, John Downey won with 1,391 votes. The board of elections reported 480 write-in votes. Once those are officially counted the second winner of the race, either Jeremy Hurst and David Wyse.
