The Fulton County Agricultural Society held elections Nov. 10 for Fair Board directors.
With 210 ballots cast, the following directors were reelected to three-year terms: Neal Callender, Chesterfield Township; Jamie Buehrer, Pike Township; and William Gombash, Fulton Township. Newly elected directors are Mary Gordon, Royalton Township, and Max Nofziger, Member at Large.
At the Agricultural Society’s annual meeting, which followed, the Fair Board elected Dennis Wyse as president and John Lovejoy as vice president. Larry Burkholder was reappointed treasurer, and April Kuckuck was retained as the secretary.
Other Fair Board directors are Ronald Holdeman, Swancreek Township; John Lovejoy, Franklin Township; Steve Richer, Clinton Township; Steve Aeschliman, York Township; Rick Raab, Member at Large; Tracy Bentley, Gorham Township; Phil Herring, Dover Township; Ron Rice, German Township; John Vershum, Amboy Township; and Dennis Wyse, Member At Large.

Members of the Society must be 18 years of age and reside in Fulton County. Memberships for 2019 go on sale Dec. 1; the deadline for membership sales is 4 p.m. on Oct. 25, 2019. The deadline to turn in a valid petition is 4 p.m. Nov. 1, 2019, with elections and the annual meeting to be held Nov. 9, 2019.
Board meetings in 2019 will be held Jan. 10, March 7, Aug. 1, and Oct. 3. Special meeting notices are posted at the office at the fairgrounds or visit fultoncountyfair.com.
The 2019 Fulton County Fair will be held Aug. 30-Sept. 5, 2019.
