Tom Tedrow is being challenged by two residents for York Township Trustee. Joe Howard and Troy Weber will look to unseat the incumbent in the Nov. 3 election.

Education: High School Graduate

1. Why are you running for office?

For the opportunity to serve a great township and community.

2. Why should people vote for you?

I feel that my past 10 years of road and drainage construction, highway maintenance and being a small business owner give me the qualifications needed to be a trustee.

3. What are your two main goals if elected?

My main goals upon election are to be fiscally responsible with the taxpayers money and do what is needed to keep York township a great place to live.

1. Why are you running for office?

I am running to secure the opportunity to continue serving the people of York Township. I have served for the past 16 years and have the experience to understand the grass-root form of township government.

2. Why should people vote for you?

I have been a lifelong resident of York Township. I have been a part of township leadership in the past and can use these experiences to help shape the township in the future.

3. What are your two main goals if elected?

One goal is to further develop the York Township Park at the corner of Road E and Road 10. I hope to have a shelter house with running water and also more playground equipment. Another goal would be to find ways to encourage the township residents to get more involved in township issues.

4. Have you held office before?

Yes. I have had the honor of being elected township trustee four times.

5. Do you have anything else to add?

I am a U.S. Army veteran, a York Township landowner, member of Liberty Chapel U.M. Church, member of Fulton County Farm Bureau, member of American Boer Goat Association, plus other various organizations.
